I'm not sure I agree on the order of Captain Atom. I know the chronology has Justice League Europe #22 before Captain Atom #48, but that story takes place on November 11th, and I currently have JLE 22 after other Jan 1991 issues, which would put it after X-Mas, so either in between Captain Atom #48 and 49 or between 49 and 50. Also, what is the reason for putting JLQ 3 just after JLE 21? Is it because of the storyline that starts in JLE 23 and end with Maxwell Lord being shot it JLE 28? Because, no matter how I look at it there must be quite a break in time between pages 19 and 20 of that issue, due to Flash's change in costume for instance. So I have it after JLE 28 pg 19 and JLA 51, which also puts it closer to the actual publication date.
I am putting a lot of work into the master chronology sheet that I shared, and I'd rather not just change whatever you are doing without a discussion, but it takes a lot of time for me to see if what is being done aligns or not and if not having to go re-check the issues to see if I missed something. I don't know if you have some notes on the issues that could quickly clarify, just as with some of the Superman stuff. Should I try to see if I can put what I have into list format, instead of as a flowchart? It's just that it feels like I've wasted a lot of time (months/years) doing all this work if we're not going to try to align. --Tenzel Kim (talk) 19:58, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- I did that because I was following the chronology pages for each character. I am not completely certain, but I believe it was Zilch who places JLQ #3 in between JLE #21 and #22; you will probably want to talk to him about that. If you feel that my edits are incorrect, please feel free to make the necessary changes, as it was never my intention to contradict your chronologies.
As for converting the master chronology from a flowchart into a list, I am 100% in favor of that; it would make things a whole lot easier, and it is in fact what other chronology pages I have seen do. Doug86 (talk) 16:39, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
You've put Superman: The Doomsday Wars after Superman: The Man of Tomorrow #14. Any particular reason for that? That is almost a year after it was published. I have it between JLA/Titans and Action Comics #750 which came out just after Superman: The Doomsday Wars #1. You had a good explanation for the Superman/Doomsday: Hunter/Prey which I actually found backed up in a flashback later, but don't recall seeing anything on this.--Tenzel Kim (talk) 14:30, 27 July 2025 (UTC)
- It is said in Superman Vol. 2 #148 that Clark Ross is two months old, and Superman: The Man of Tomorrow #14 takes play about two months before that. Doug86 (talk) 16:06, 27 July 2025 (UTC)
- It is also stated in Doomsday Wars that it take place one year after Adam Grant's burial, and he was killed on Halloween. So personally I'd rather disregard the two months statement and place it closer to the actual publication date. I personally have it after JLA/Titans which would put it after Superman: Silver Banshee which took place on Halloween. --Tenzel Kim (talk) 17:08, 18 August 2025 (UTC)
Please stop removing real names from the Legion characters. I don’t want to see this “battle” going on between you and Mike. This is something that should be agreed on and not just somethat that keeps going back and forth because you don’t agree. If a decision needs to be made then lets make it an actual discussion rather than this. --Tenzel Kim (talk) 20:42, 13 December 2024 (UTC)
When deleting pages could you put a note in the "Other/additional reason:" field to indicate why it was removed. For instance: "Duplicate of Little Boy Blue (Tommy Rogers)" for "Little Boy Blue (Tommy Rodgers)" so that we know why the page was deleted? If for no other reason than to steady my heart... I always get a bit scared when pages are deleted --Tenzel Kim (talk) 20:28, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
Just wanted to let you know I'm working on a MAJOR update of the Superman chronology. Basically everything after the original/New 52 merge, as there were a lot of discrepancies in the order we had. The whole Bendis/Snyder era is really hard to get in order though especially around the whole Justice/Doom War, Event Leviathan, Unity Saga, The Infected etc. Way too much of this takes place at apparently the same time, but trying to get it to match for as many books as possible.--Tenzel Kim (talk) 20:56, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
Why create (Prime Earth) chronologies for Metamorpho and G’nort instead of adding to the one that’s there? --Tenzel Kim (talk) 19:14, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
- For Metamorpho, his old chronology was very long; it was my understanding that Prime Earth characters with long previous histories should have their own chronology pages, like Superman and Batman. As for G'nort of Prime Earth, I assumed he was a different character from G'Nort of New Earth since their names are spelled differently. Doug86 (talk) 17:36, 13 January 2024 (UTC)
Please don't remove real names from character listings such as:
- Flash III (Wally West)
There has not yet been made a decision on this subject. I created a Discussion Page about this subject back in october and asked all of you to weigh in, so that we might be able to reach a decision and it wouldn't just be me that did it. So far only DRMOUSE has weighed in on the subject. There are several different ways that this could be done and I'd very much like everyone's input, but please let us not "fight" each other by removing stuff that has been added by others unless the information is downright wrong.
Please add your preferred option on the Help_talk:Character_appearances and argue why you think it should be done that way. Let's please have the discussion here instead of individually by e-mail. I'd rather everyone was able to see the thoughts going into this decision than it being done behind the scenes.
I'm also considering posing the question on the message boiard to get the opinion of users of the site and not just us editors. --Tenzel Kim (talk) 03:01, 22 January 2016 (PST)
